girls on the run |
Girls on the Run is Gamma Phi Beta's national philanthropic partner, an organization dedicated to inspiring girls to be healthy and confident. We're lucky enough to have a local council, allowing Gamma Phi to work with girls in the Rochester community as coaches, running buddies, cheerleaders, and more. Twice a year we attend local GOTR races and hold philanthropic events on campus - all proceeds go to our philanthropies, including Girls on the Run of Greater Rochester.
Crescent Quiz Bowl
Starting in 2022 Gamma Phi Beta Epsilon Tau Fall philanthropy event is the Crescent quiz bowl. A quiz show like game where teams compete to win by answering the most questions right. All proceeds go to our philanthropic partner, Girls on the Run.
moonball |
Moonball is Gamma Phi Beta's annual philanthropy event. It's a volleyball or kickball tournament in the Spring semester, where teams compete for the Golden Moonball, as well as enjoy raffles and pizza. We have a blast cheering on the registered teams and getting to hang out with the team members for a few hours. Students sign up to enjoy the fun and all proceeds go to our philanthropic partner, Girls on the Run.
community service |
In addition to our philanthropic partners, Gamma Phi Beta loves working with various organizations around the community. For example, for the past three falls a group of sisters got to work at a benefit dinner at the Equicenter, a Rochester-based organization for providing therapeutic equestrian programs for veterans, people with disabilities, and more. We love being able to work with such amazing organizations!
